What Exactly is a Life Coach?
A life coach is a qualified professional who helps individuals identify and achieve personal and professional goals. They work with clients to create a vision for their lives, set specific and measurable goals and create action plans to achieve those goals.
The coach acts as a sounding board, providing support, guidance and accountability to help clients overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs that may be holding them back. They may also use various techniques such as goal setting, problem-solving, and visualization to help clients achieve their desired outcomes.
Life Coaches can work with clients on a wide range of issues, including career development, relationships, health and wellness, personal growth, and more. They can work with individuals, couples or groups and sessions can be in-person, over the phone or via video conferencing. The process of coaching can be short term or long term depending on the client's needs and goals.
A life coach is not a therapist or counsellor, but rather a coach who helps clients achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives.
